Professionally Speaking

 

My primary occupation is a Massage Therapist. I am licensed since 1986, it's a long time. In those years I have transformed my practice three times. 

 

During the first few years, my focus was restricted to the physical aspect of massage. I received certifications in aromatherapy, massage during pregnancy and infant massage instruction. After working in the industry for over a decade my interests expanded. 

 

I am a Reiki Master, Chakra Balancing Practitioner and have studied Angel therapy - incorporating crystals as a modality in my practice. I have dabbled in the art of creative manifesting (The Secret), past life regression and Angel Therapy. I've attended numerous workshops and lectures delving into the spiritual realm, proclaiming its existence. I’ve had my tarot card read; channeled my higher self and had my aura cleansed.  I’ve been poked at, prodded and chanted over. Tripping and falling into the Land of Metaphysics where esoteric mysteries and miracles reside.  Enlightenment being only a click away.

 

The deeper into these encounters, the more I questioned myself, was this path my divine goal?  

It was not until I was introduced to Vegan Raw Food lifestyle that I found my passion. I revamped my career, went back to school to finish my Bachelors of Science, with a major in health and healing.         

                                              

It became clear to me to recognize the direct impact we have on our own health and wellness.  Slowly, I began to shift my practice to offer healthier options. Today, I encourage my patients to take accountability for their ailments, aches and pains.This is my path. I have been researching and studying the principals of Natural Hygiene as I continue on my own journey of happiness, clean living, clean foods and clean thoughts. 

 

In the privacy of my massage room, I turn into a counselor, adviser and therapist.  It is my ultimate goal to transform and once again and reinvent myself from massage therapist to a life practioner.
